So, I was going through some of my thousand and thousands of photos today (the one down fall of digital) and I found some photos of Andy and Brooklyn from last summer at the swimming pool in Orderville. They looked so funny that day, from the looks of it you would think they were in more than just a foot and a half of water! Ha! Oh kids...they make ya smile don't they??

Addie
Addie met me in Springdale yesterday to take some photos. I don't know what it is, but I love that area. It was really windy all day yesterday so i was a bit worried that we were going to be blow away out there, but it was nice once we got out there to shoot. There was a little bit of wind, which I thought made for some good shots. Addie did great, and we got some really cute shots of her. I love how the red in her hair looks so vibrant! Anyway, a few of my favorites....

Tristan
So, Donna brought up Sara's little Tristan today. He is a cutie and seeing how I have been a complete slacker with my photos lately I busted out the camera and took a few shots while he was playing...they turned out pretty cute I think :)

Good News!!!....I love fortune cookies :)
....So yesterday after I got off work when Ryan and I were headed over to my house from the condo to make dinner, he hands me this little white Chinese take out box. He then tells me that I have to wait to see what is in this mysterious little white box. For those of you who know me well, you know I'm not a patient person, and it only peaks my curiosity when I have to wait to find out something. Anyway, we stopped and picked up a few things to make dinner, and then went to the house where I proceeded to make dinner as this little white box sat on the counter just begging to be opened. I do mean literally BEGGING to be opened. Not only did Ryan give me this little box that begged to be opened, but he told me that before I opened it I had to name five things about him or five things that I loved about him....which was not a difficult task. The guy takes such good care of me he made it easy for me :) By the time we finished dinner, and cleaned up, I was to my limit of waiting. So, I opened my box.....only to find.....is the suspense killing you yet???? .....only to find.....
.... a really big fortune cookie... What else would you find in a cute little white Chinese takeout box?? ...Well maybe some Chinese food..
Did it peak your curiosity?? It did mine too :)
And after all of that...can you believe there wasn't even a fortune inside the cookie!??? I know! Who does such a thing right??! Well lucky for you I'm only kidding.... I cracked open that cute chocolate dipped fortune cookie, and pulled out a white strip of paper that was printed with red letters...
.... I knew I loved fortune cookies for a reason....better than a box of cracker jacks :)

He wasn't to sure about having he pictures taken at first, but then he gave in and had a little nap and we made the best of it! I think there turned out to be some really cute ones of him! As always on my little blog these are a few of my favorites!!

the big NYC!!
NEEEWWWW YORK!!!
So, we decided to stop in New York this year when we traveled back east to see Ryan's Parents. Seeing as it was my first time really in New York (other than the airport) we did the whole tourist type thing. We had a wrench threw in our plans when we got stuck in Las Vegas for six hours after our flight got canceled and we had to wait for the next one out. But despite that over all it was a fun time!
We went to the top of the Empire State building...all the way up to the look over the top of the city! We went to Time Square, where we stood in line FOREVER ...or so it seemed. But we ended up with tickets 50% off to see Elf...the Broadway show version. It was fun, I laughed... a lot, and Ryan go to see his friend that played Buddy the Elf. After the show we went to see the big tree at the Rockefeller Center, and let me tell you there were TONS of people there!! That night we also did Top of the Rock, which is the Rockefeller building or the NBC building. It was awesome! That's where the night photos of the city came from. They let you go all the way to the top, and they don't have the fences around like they do at the top of the Empire State building. The view is amazing. I think that was by far one of my favorite things. I liked seeing the city at night more than during the day, just more romantic or something I guess :) Anyway.....I think that's about it for the quick rundown of our whirlwind trip to New York. Oh! We also went to Junior's for a piece of famous New York cheesecake. You can't really leave New York without having a piece can you??? So there are a few photos from our trip!!
